Lead transformative case management for youth in detention. Provide comprehensive, continuing and coordinated services aimed at the reintegration of young people in detention into the community.

About the Role

We are seeking a Case Management Coordinatorto lead the development and delivery of high-quality case management services at Ashley Youth Detention Centre (AYDC). This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective systems, supervising staff, and ensuring that case plans are tailored, achievable, and youth-centred.

You'll play a key role in coordinating services that support reintegration, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, upskilling other team member's practice and contributing to policy and practice aligned with national standards.

What we are Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings:

* Expertise in case management and development, implementation, and evaluation of processes.
* A passion for working with young people to achieve positive outcomes and alignment with the Department's values.
* Demonstrated ability to recognise and articulate the interests of young people from diverse cultural backgrounds, including the capacity to effectively and sensitively negotiate positive outcomes.
* Post-graduate experience in a relevant allied health discipline (e.g. Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, Occupational Therapist, or similar).
* High-level communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with young people, internal and external stakeholders.

Condition of Employment

* Salary $110,425 to $121,907 per annum + 6.5% corrections allowance + super
* Award/ Agreement: Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Union Wages Agreement

To be eligible, you must have:

* Ability to obtain or have a current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Employment Status) – Tasmania.
* Satisfactory completion of an approved Allied Health Professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, eligible for membership with the relevant professional association.
* Satisfy a pre-employment check.
