Job Description
This is an advanced leadership position where you will oversee a 30-bed psychogeriatric and dementia high-care unit at our home.
As a leader in this role, you will have real operational authority to manage human and financial resources, refine evidence-based models of care, mentor healthcare professionals, influence behavior-support strategies, and collaborate closely with Clinical Nurse Consultants, Nurse Educators, and other leaders.
* You will ensure the effective and efficient use of human, fiscal, and material resources for the unit.
* You will effectively manage the unit on a day-to-day basis to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
* You will coordinate, formulate, and direct evidence-based policies/procedures for the clinical specialty which reflect current trends relating to the provision of nursing care by integrating patient care across the continuum of care.
