We're working on an exciting assignment with an award winning Perth based firm specialising in Oil & Gas for a commercial lawyer to join us, and kick-start their LOD career with this assignment.
This assignment will see you advising on a range of matters including commercial contracts, licensing arrangements, shareholder agreements and negotiations, regulatory compliance through to litigation. You will be leading a joint venture structure. This assignment is predominantly Perth office based but is open to a hybrid model. This is a full time assignment which runs 12-24 months.
To join us, you will:
* Have at least 10-15 years PQE ideally gained from top or mid-tier law firms or in-house (with strong legal training)
* Be experienced in negotiations and leading a joint venture structure and governance.
* Be experienced in commercial law and or litigation.
* Be client centric - commercially minded, adaptable and able to hit the ground running
* In-house experience in mining, oil and gas, resources industry.
* Enjoy partnering with businesses and managing stakeholder relationships
