Leap Health is seeking a friendly, organised and reliable casual Receptionist to join its welcoming New Town clinic. This is a fantastic opportunity to become the face of a well-respected, locally owned allied health practice and play a key role in ensuring clients receive exceptional service from the moment they walk through the door.
The Position
As the first point of contact for clients, the Receptionist will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the front desk.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting clients with booking and managing appointments.
* Answering phone calls and directing enquiries appropriately.
* Managing referrals, appointments and practitioner schedules.
* Processing payments, invoices and health fund claims (including NDIS, HICAPS, Medicare, DVA and WorkCover).
* Maintaining a clean and organised reception area.
* Providing administrative support to practitioners as required.
The successful candidate will bring:
* Availability to work 6 hours per day (8:30am–2:30pm) on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to prioritise effectively.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Confidence working both independently and as part of a team.
* Previous experience in a reception or administrative role (experience in allied health or medical settings highly regarded).
* Confidence using practice management software (e.g. TM3 or similar).

* Casual hourly rate of $33–$36 per hour, dependent on experience
