Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, adjustments, and inspections of Slurry Pumps, Valves, and Hydrocyclones in the Goldfields Region and greater WA mining region.
* Repairing and refurbishing used pumps, as well as assembling new pumps in accordance with OEM procedures.
* Support of Metso Pump Trials in the field.
* Carrying out hands-on service work such as adjustments, installation, commissioning, and operation of pumps on and off customer sites.
* Internal and external report writing at the completion of every field service job.
* Conducting and/or assisting with investigations of customer failures regarding quality, tolerances, specifications, and delivered conditions of products.
* Contributing to clients with technical evaluations and analyzing equipment and machine component failures.
The ideal candidate will have experience with maintenance and/or rebuild/assembly of slurry pumps, a mechanical trade qualification with at least 2 years' experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Mechanical trade qualification with at least 2 years' experience - recognised in Australia.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, drawings, operating, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
