The role
As a Key Account Manager, you will focus on servicing our sales base for heat pump and gas products in hot water and pool heating. Based in our Loganlea office, your role involves maintaining and supporting relationships with existing distributors while identifying and cultivating new accounts across Queensland. You will be the key direct sales contact, responsible for designing and executing effective communication strategies to positively position Rheem products in the market.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain and support relationships with existing distributors
* Achieve growth in the distribution network by identifying and cultivating new accounts
* Act as the key direct sales contact for targeted accounts
* Design and execute communication strategies for positive market positioning
* Conduct direct representation via agreed call plans to individual targets
* Engage in discussions with decision-makers and specifiers on sales, contractual, technical, and application levels
* Provide high-quality written and verbal presentations of project characteristics and product solutions
* Track all sales-related contacts, leads, and referrals using CRM software
* Contribute to the Marketing Plan, particularly the Distribution Plan
* Provide market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing, and market feedback
* Offer timely and accurate design and application advice to customers
* Train trade distributors, industry suppliers, and consultants in Rheem Thermal products
* Exhibit products at trade exhibitions to maintain a high brand profile
About you
To be successful in this role you will have;
* Engineering or Technical field experience or a trade qualification.
* Experience in a Technical Sales role within the HVAC or swimming pool industry
* Excellent oral and written communication skills on both commercial and technical matters
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* NSW Drivers licence
