Your new role
As the Administration Assistant, you'll be the face and heartbeat of the centre management office. This is not your typical desk-bound admin role - you'll be actively engaging with retailers, managing financial processes, and supporting the broader team with a variety of operational and administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities include:
* Administration and emergency/risk management
* Full ownership of accounts payable and purchase order processing
* Raising and matching POs, processing invoices for payment
* Supporting the Retail and Centre Managers with daily operations
* Managing contractor documentation and compliance
* Coordinating charity bookings and casual mall leasing
* Maintaining high standards of presentation and customer service
* Participating in emergency and risk management procedures
* General reception duties
What you'll need to succeed
* Strong financial acumen - confident with spreadsheets, AP processes, and PO management
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - you'll be out on the floor, not just behind a desk
* Proactive, independent, and solutions-focused mindset
* High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
* Strong computer literacy (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
* Experience in retail centre management or property admin is a bonus, but not essential
