We are now seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Inventory Manager to join our senior leadership team. This role will drive end-to-end planning, procurement and inventory control across all manufacturing operations, ensuring materials flow seamlessly to support our ambitious production schedule.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an experienced Supply Chain & Inventory Manager at Cure Marine, you'll oversee the planning, procurement and inventory control that keep our builds on time, on budget and to the highest quality, while working hand-in-hand with our manufacturing teams to turn innovation into reality.
This is a truly hands-on position: you'll not only manage procurement strategy and data integrity, but also drive a forklift, receive goods and pick parts for the manufacturing team. With a significant component of data entry and database management for Bills of Materials, parts inventory and procurement, this is a highly demanding and business-critical role.
In this role, you will:
* Take full ownership of the supply chain and inventory function, driving high performance and continuous improvement
* Define and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives
* Build and manage long-term supplier relationships and negotiate favourable terms
* Forecast material needs based on production schedules and historical trends
* Oversee procurement activity, ensuring timely and accurate stock replenishment
* Physically receive goods, drive a forklift and pick parts for the manufacturing team to ensure timely material flow
* Manage and improve the inventory management system for real-time accuracy
* Monitor material consumption, variances and excess to reduce costs and improve forecasting
* Maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) and supplier delivery documentation
* Optimise warehouse layout, systems and processes for efficiency, accuracy and safety
* Drive improvements in PPE and consumables tracking
ABOUT YOU
You are an experienced and detail-driven supply chain leader with the strategic insight and hands-on approach to keep multiple boat builds running seamlessly. You thrive in a collaborative manufacturing environment and have the flexibility to adapt as the business grows and projects evolve.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* Significant experience in supply chain, inventory or procurement management (manufacturing or related industry preferred)
* Proven ability to lead teams, develop systems and drive cost and efficiency improvements
* Excellent negotiation, forecasting and stakeholder-management skills
* Strong analytical skills with a practical, hands-on approach
* Forklift license essential
