About our client: We are working with a leading agricultural company in Griffith, NSW, who are committed to sustainable and ethical practices as they interact with clients across the poultry industry.

We are tasked with seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Clerk to join their team on a full time ongoing basis and support their financial operations.

The Role: We are looking for a full-time Accounts Clerk to manage our client’s daily financial transactions.

This position is vital for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth running of their business.

The successful candidate will handle accounts payable and receivable, perform data entry, and assist with financial reporting.

1. Annual Salary: A market-competitive salary package will be offered, commensurate with experience and qualifications, negotiable in the range $65k to $70k plus superannuation per annum.
2. Location: Griffith, NSW.
3. Type of Employment: Full-time, ongoing

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process invoices and manage payments to suppliers.
2. Data Entry.

Reconcile bank statements and financial ledgers.
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
4. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documentation.
5. Along with the finance team, work on tracking business costs
6. Perform general administrative and clerical duties as required.

This extends to the provision of accurate audit documentation and other measures ensuring the company achieves and maintains regulatory compliance.

To be considered for this exciting role we will expect to see

1. A Certificate II or III in Accounts, Administration or a related field.
2. Proven experience (1 year or more) as an Accounts Clerk or in a similar financial role, ideally within the agricultural or allied industrial sectors.
3. Proficiency with accounting software like Xero or MYOB.
4. Strong skills in office software suites
5. Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
6. Demonstrated relevant work skills.
7. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

You must have unrestricted full time Australian working rights to be considered.
