About the role
We're looking for a
Senior Network Engineer
to join our Technology team on a 6-month contract. This role is 70% project work and 30% BAU, supporting critical network infrastructure and delivering innovative solutions. Occasional travel may be required to data centres, offices, and assets.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network solutions.
* Act as an escalation point for network issues and ensure timely resolution.
* Manage incidents and changes in line with ITIL best practices.
* Ensure network security and compliance standards are met.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and articulate technical concepts clearly.
* Drive continuous improvement and support project delivery.
Skills & Experience
* Strong experience with Cisco routing and switching.
* Palo Alto firewall administration and management.
* F5 load balancing expertise.
* Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident/change management).
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
