We are seeking an experienced and reliable Removalist to join our team.
This role involves transporting furniture and white goods between warehouses and residential properties, ensuring safe handling and compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
Responsibilities/Duties Transport furniture and white goods between warehouses and residential properties using various modes of equipment and transport Packing/unpacking, scanning, labelling, and loading items securely and safely for transport Construction of new furniture Report observed discrepancies in stock levels, transactions, and serial numbers Use of computer systems to record times and read emails Maintain health and safety within the workplace by promoting safety awareness initiatives, discussions and trainings, encouraging a safety focused culture and participating and reviewing risk assessments for those under their supervision.
Any other reasonable duties as requested QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Essential Previous experience in the transportation industry.
Desirable Cert IV in Logistics or Supply chain Equivalent demonstrated experience TICKETS AND LICENCES Minimum Essential Drivers License (HR endorsement) Forklift License Desirable CPR White Card First Aid EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS – Minimum Essential Minimum Essential 3 years' experience Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with varied stakeholders Experience with MS Office operating system WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND MENTAL DEMANDS The ability to lift heavy items for an extended period.
