Business Operations Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the strategic and day-to-day financial, physical and human resource aspects of the school's business operations in collaboration with the Principal.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the financial, physical and human resources aspects of the school's business operations in partnership with the Principal.
* Deliver effective financial administration, including financial planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting to achieve the school's objectives.
* Develop a strong team ethos within the Administration Team and contribute to the school's Business Plan.
* Lead a team of school support staff and ensure governance, reporting and compliance with relevant legislation and requirements.

Requirements:

* Strong financial management capabilities; experience in budget preparation and applying accounting practices.
* Excellent written and interpersonal communication, and negotiation skills.
* Experience in leadership of a team and in providing high-level human resource and financial advice.
* Understanding of relevant legislation, reporting and governance requirements related to the role.

Eligibility:

* Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or valid visa with work rights for the appointment term.
* Working With Children Check.
* Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check with current Screening Clearance Number from the Department of Education's Screening Unit.
