Known in industry as a supplier company "easy to do business with and a can-do attitude" they have a steady pipeline of products coming through to market, being on a growth trajectory.
Role
There is now the vacancy for a Commercial Manager, to cover the key Northern region of NSW. Reporting to the NSW State Manager (supporting you as needed), you will be driving the commercial activities within the territory to achieve targets of sales turnover, market share, profitability, product mix and professionalism.
Drawing on your background in agronomy and crop protection, this involves building good customer relationships with rural resellers and distributors through proactive sales and marketing activities. There is an existing strong customer base in this large and productive territory who are very supportive of the product range.
Skills and Attributes
Ideally 5 years experience in sales or marketing, within the agricultural sector
Background in agronomy/farming and knowledge of crop protection products
Relationship building and account management skills
Good organisational and time management skills
Solid communication and interpersonal skills in a commercial environment
Appropriate university degree is preferred
Agsafe accreditation would be ideal
