Part‐Time Dentist – Newcomb Smiles (Newcomb Central)
Newcomb Smiles is a brand new, privately owned dental clinic opening in April at Newcomb Central Shopping Centre, next to Aldi and Woolworths. We are a relationship‐focused, quality‐driven practice with a special interest in restorative and implant dentistry, serving an under‐serviced and growing community in Newcomb–Moolap.
We are looking for a friendly, patient‐centred Dentist to join us part‐time and help build a loyal patient base from day one.
About the role
* Position: Part‐time Associate Dentist
* Location: Newcomb Central Shopping Centre, Newcomb VIC
* Start: April 2026 (flexible for the right candidate)
* Days: 2–3 days per week initially (with scope to grow hours as the books fill)
* Clinical mix:
o General dentistry – exams, cleans, fillings, simple extractions, RCT
o Preventive and family dentistry across all ages
o Opportunity to be involved in crowns, bridges, implants, cosmetic and full‐mouth rehab cases, depending on your interests and experience
* Tech & support: Primescan intraoral scanner for digital workflows, rotary endo, 1:1 chairside nurse support, modern fit‐out/equipment.
* Mentorship: Direct guidance from principal dentist with monthly case review meetings

About you
* AHPRA‐registered dentist with appropriate professional indemnity insurance
* Confident with routine general dentistry; at least 1–2 years' experience in private practice preferred (new grads considered if the fit is right)
* Warm, empathetic communication style – you enjoy taking time to explain treatment and build long‐term relationships
* Comfortable working independently in a small, tight‐knit team as the practice grows
