The role ensures these platforms are user-friendly, current and align with AlburyCity's strategic goals.
Collaborating within the Communications & Engagement Team, this position delivers best-practice web experiences for a broad range of audiences and supports the delivery of digital design for internal and external stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Website & Digital Platform Management: Oversee AlburyCity's websites, intranet and microsites.
Advise stakeholders on best practices and change-manage new features.
Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.0) and compliance with industry standards and local government requirements.
Use Google Analytics to monitor user engagement.Web Development & Technical Support: Perform development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), collaborate with IT and external developers, optimise performance (SEO, mobile responsiveness).Content Creation & Management: Create and edit content for websites and digital platforms, ensuring alignment with AlburyCity's strategies (AlburyCity Brand, Communications and Engagement Customer Experience, Engaging Albury, Engaging Our People and Towards Albury 2050).
Optimise digital assets and ensure adherence to branding, style guides and accessibility requirements.Strategic Communications & Marketing: Ensure digital content aligns with AlburyCity's goals, working with Marketing for brand consistency.
Support digital marketing initiatives and campaigns.EDM & Social Media Management: Facilitate email campaigns via platforms like Mailchimp.
Monitor social media using tools like Meltwater, ensuring integration across digital platforms.Project Management & Collaboration: Use tools like Asana to manage digital projects.

Additional hours over the standard hours will attract time in lieu arrangement or payment of overtime rates as agreed in advance with your supervisor.On occasions, there will be a requirement to attend meetings and events outside of normal business hours.This position does not require you to wear a compulsory uniform, however you must follow the dress code requirements within the AlburyCity's Our People Dress Code Standards.
