About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Aboriginal Team Leader to join our team. As the leader of heritage programs, you will be responsible for managing a team that undertakes listing, compliance, repatriation, and conservation programs for Heritage NSW across a geographical region.
This is an Aboriginal Identified role where Aboriginal identity, cultural knowledge or connections are a genuine aspect of the role. Positions are specifically noted under the provisions of the NSW Anti-discrimination Act (1977).
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a team undertaking heritage programs.
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Develop and implement conservation plans.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve program goals.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Tertiary qualifications in heritage, archaeology, architecture, or a related field.
* Demonstrated experience in conservation and/or program management.
* A strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and history.
