Manage a small maintenance team
38 Hrs per week with 1 RDO per month
The Property and Services Supervisor's primary role will be to lead and manage the property team to ensure the College's grounds and facilities are managed and maintained to service both students and staff. This role will also be involved with supporting the strategic direction of the next stages of the Master Plan of the colleges continued construction & development.
Reporting to the business Manager, the role entails:
Management of Maintenance & facilities operations across the school
Procurement of material, equipment and other items, which are essential and required for the operation of the College
Maintain the processing of purchase orders and invoices in the College's finance system to the satisfaction of the Business Manager and established auditing procedures.
Provide advice to the Principal and the Business Manager on projects relating to maintenance, renovations and improvements of the buildings and physical resources
Ensure OH&S; procedures are enforced & followed
Management & supervision of external contractors & trades
About you:
Trade background, ideally in carpentry or electrical
Experience working in maintenance roles within construction, facilities or education space
Ability to be hands on
Ability to provide leadership & direction to a small team
