Multi Operation Job Positions - Operators, Blasting, Water & Vac Works
We are a local industrial blast and paint / water blasting / Vac work supplier servicing Northwest Queensland and the Northern Territory. Our company supports inland and regional mine site teams, local councils and minor to major civil projects, with a strong reputation for quality, safety, and reliability.
We're a well-established business with long-standing management, solid customer relationships, and secured contracts from Brisbane to Darwin, supporting structural remediation teams across QLD and the NT.
Currently HIRING FOR:
* Trade Assistants/Operator trainee (entry level)
* Painters and Abrasive Blasters
This is a casual position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidates, with a reputable, locally owned company committed to quality, reliability, and looking after their staff. Mount Isa locals are preferred.
About the roles
* Minimum 2-year prior experience on vac loading.
* Minimum Heavy Rigid licence. (Essential)
* Highly regarded Vac loading, drain cleaning, Class B certification
* Highly regarded WAH, EWP, CSE, MH, FIRE R, FIRST AID/CPR
* UHPWB Operators
* Preferred but not essential Heavy Rigid Licence.
* Preferred but not essential WAH, EWP, CSE, MH, FIRE R, FIRST AID/CPR
* Tilt tray driver
* Current Heavy Rigid Licence. (Essential)
* Preferred but not essential Multi combination licence.
* Minimum 2-year experience in painting and QA.
* Preferred but not essential Paint trade certificate
* Trade assistants/Trainee operators
* Preferred but not essential mining experience
* Preferred but not essential civil construction experience
ALL POSITIONS must have:
* Heavy Rigid Licence (Highly Desirable)
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
* Safety and quality focused
* Able to work unsupervised
* Be reliable, punctual, self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
