We are seeking a hands-on Service Manager who can lead from the front, drive workshop performance, build strong customer relationships, and develop a high-performing aftersales team. About the Role
Reporting to senior dealership management, you will take full responsibility for the daily operations and performance of the service department.
You will lead a team of Service Advisors, Technicians, and Workshop Staff while ensuring exceptional customer service, workshop efficiency, and overall department profitability.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all daily servicedepartment operations
* Drive workshop productivity, efficiency, and profitability
* Lead, mentor, and develop service and workshop teams
* Ensure outstanding customer service and aftersales support
* Monitor workflow, repair quality, and workshop performance
* Manage customer concerns and deliver positive outcomes
* Develop strategies to improve service sales and profitability
* Manage departmental KPIs, budgets, and financial performance
* Ensure compliance with workplace health & safety standards
* Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Service Manager
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Experience in automotive or heavy vehicle workshop operations
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to manage workflow and meet operational deadlines
* Candidates must currently be based in Australia
* Salary: Circa AUD $120K + Super + Accommodation + Company Vehicle + Fuel Card
