Exciting Opportunity: Be Healthy Project Officer
We are seeking an enthusiastic Be Healthy Project Officer who is passionate about community health and wellbeing. This role is integral to assessing and enhancing the 'Be Healthy' Program's delivery and outcomes for participants within the Derby Aboriginal community. You will maintain accurate records, assist in evaluations, and gather essential feedback to drive program improvements.
Your efforts will empower Aboriginal individuals to increase their physical activity, improve nutrition, and reduce obesity through culturally relevant practises. You will work alongside an inspiring team and collaborate with key partners, including Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services and Diabetes WA, to foster a healthier future.
Who We're Looking For
We want a dynamic individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to making a difference. You will possess strong communication skills and a high level of integrity in maintaining confidentiality.
* Aboriginality is a genuine requirement for this position.
* Excellent communication abilities.
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* A current "C" Class driver's licence and National Police Clearance.
* An eagerness to learn and adapt, with well-developed organisational skills.

Salary & Benefits
We offer a highly competitive salary package that includes a base salary of $79,806, along with an accommodation allowance of $7,800. You'll also benefit from salary packaging options of up to $30,000, allowing you to maximise your earnings effectively. Additionally, enjoy 5 weeks of annual leave, providing you with ample time to recharge and explore your surroundings.
