We are assisting a local company specialising in commercial maintenance in electrical, plumbing, building and automatic doors. With more than 25 years in operation, they have built a strong reputation and client base across Geelong, the Bellarine, Surf Coast, and Colac regions.
They provide services for most major facilities maintenance companies, supermarkets, hospitals, building companies, tertiary education, other commercial customers and private clients across the region.
Due to ongoing growth our client is looking to expand the plumbing division and are seeking a skilled Plumber to join the team. This is a great opportunity to not only deliver quality client work but also play a role in developing and growing this side of the business.

About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity suited to a qualified Plumber who enjoys hands-on client work as well as contributing to the growth of a business. You may have previously owned your own plumbing business and looking to return to employment. You will enjoy being both hands on and developing the client base further.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver plumbing services across preventative maintenance, breakdowns, installation and servicing.
- Work independently and manage your day effectively using provided tools and systems.
- Assist the management team to develop and expand the plumbing service offering and client base.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on quality and reliability.
- Participate in an on-call roster with an allowance provided.
This is a Full Time role or the client is able to accommodate part-time and flexible schedule to suit your lifestyle. Our client offers a 24/7 service to their customers; therefore candidates need to be available on our after-hours roster on a rotational basis, with an on-call allowance paid.
Attractive remuneration will be offered in-line with your skills and experience, as well as mobile phone allowance, fuel card and company van provided.
About You
You will be an experienced Licensed Plumber and our client welcomes applications from previous sole traders who may be seeking the security and benefits of employment again.
You have the ability to work well on your own or in a team environment and possess a great work ethic. In return our client offers the flexibility to schedule your working day around other commitments or start/finish close to home.
You will have excellent product knowledge and diagnostic capabilities together with a high level of attention to detail.

The Musts
- Plumbing License
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent diagnostic capabilities, problem solving and fault-finding skills
- Maintaining accurate service data through diligent and timely use of all service documentation and technical data
- Working in a safe manner both regarding the public and person
- Able to use an iPad containing client service software to manage jobs and competent with email communications
- Hold a current Drivers Licence and have full Australian working rights
- Hold a Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
