About the Role
As a seasoned facilities expert, you will be responsible for identifying and managing potential contractors to ensure optimal performance.
* Coordinate with providers and contractors to schedule services and activities.
* Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to maintain facility efficiency.
* Manage document control and record keeping procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.
* Identify opportunities for improvement and develop proposals to secure funding for new projects.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to undertake project management tasks.
* Oversee health, safety, and environmental aspects of facilities management operations.
* Develop annual plans for maintenance, repair, and equipment procurement to ensure continuity.
* Coordinate projects, minor building works, and infrastructure improvements to enhance operational capabilities.
About You
* Proven experience in facility management and/or contract administration.
* Qualifications and/or expertise in construction or property management are advantageous.
* Demonstrated capacity to operate effectively in an environment of change and uncertainty.
* Understanding of ethical procurement practices, including conflict of interest, competition, and transparency.
* Strong financial management skills and budgeting expertise.
* Excellent planning and implementation abilities.
* Ability to travel to regional locations as required.
