What We’re Looking For We’re seeking talented and dedicated Sous Chefs to join our dynamic kitchen teams. If you’re passionate about food, thrive in fast-paced environments, and love leading by example, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring efficient and timely service, working closely with the front-of-house team
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen workplace in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assisting the Head Chef in menu development and contributing ideas for new and innovative recipes
- Mentoring and training junior kitchen staff to uphold our commitment to culinary excellence
- Collaborating with the kitchen leadership team to uphold the highest standards of culinary excellence, ensuring the consistency and quality of every dish served
- Strictly adhering to the establishment\'s hygiene protocols, while maintaining hygiene records and practices
- Overseeing stock management, ensuring preparation requirements are met, and communicating with management about inventory and ordering
- Cultivating a positive, professional, and harmonious working relationship with all restaurant teams
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Sous Chef or similar level of responsibility in a kitchen environment
- Love of organic, nutrient-dense wholefoods and delivering 5-star hotel-like experiences
- Organised, good communicator, problem solver, and hands-on
- Customer focused and enjoy interacting with people, with daily connection to members and guests
- All required certificates and education completed
- Proven working experience supporting a kitchen team
- Excellent record of kitchen management
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently with a positive, proactive approach
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and working under pressure
Key Qualities
- Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
- Positive attitude and strong team spirit
- Honest, humble, and results-driven

Salary
AUD 70,000 to AUD 80,000
