Rumba Beach Resort located in the heart of Caloundra; QLD is looking for a Hotel Manager to join their team. Our modern resort offers 60 one, two and three-bedroom beautifully appointed, self-contained apartments.
You must be willing to work a 7-day roster including public holidays and school holidays. We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic, and reliable person who works well in a team, in a fast-paced environment. Delivering our guests an incredible 5-star holiday is paramount.
Eligibility Criteria:
Having relevant Education qualification: AQF associate degree, advance diploma, or diploma
At least 3 years of experience in the same or closely related position
You must have full time work rights in Australia
Daily tasks include:
Managing the reception and reservations team, ensuring the occupancy and revenue targets are monthly met
manage in-house guest complaints to provide exceptional customer service
Planning, implementing, and controlling the daily routine and all the resort operations,
Recruiting and training current staff
Check guests in and out and,
Helping guests with local tourist information, suggesting tours, and organising transport, and tickets for tourist attractions and concerts, according to the guests' demand.
Supervision of the housekeeping, maintenance, and reception staff, ensuring the best practices were in place and according to the resort standards.
Requirements:
Strong organization and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Operational knowledge with previous experience in team management and leadership
A general understanding of all areas of a resort or similar type of accommodation
Reliable and able to meet challenges
Working and living at the resort is a must
Salary: $54,500.00 per year
