Senior School Mathematics Teacher

A key member of the Academic Team, in this role the mathematics teacher will deliver engaging and effective lessons that foster student learning, critical thinking and a love for learning.

About your experience:
- Proven experience teaching at the secondary school level - Years 7–12.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing curriculum in alignment with the NSW curriculum.
- Experience in assessing and reporting on student learning, using a variety of tools and strategies.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive, supportive learning environment.
- Competence in using technology and digital tools to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Participation in co-curricular or extracurricular activities, camps, or school events.
QUALIFICATIONS/ESSENTIAL:
- Bachelor of Education (Secondary) or equivalent
- Experience in teaching Mathematics
- NESA accreditation to teach in NSW
- NSW Working with Children Check
- Criminal History Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
