Due to the continual growth of our organisation, we are actively seeking applications for Picker packers to cover the Day Shift based in Pinkenba.
Overview
Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, this permanent Full-time position involves picking & packing customer orders and operating the forklift on day to day basis. If you have worked in a warehouse before or someone considering a career change or someone who wants to start their career in a warehouse environment this position could be for you.
Your day-to-day routine will look something like this:
* Pick and pack orders
* Assemble customers' orders and stack pallets correctly.
* Check orders and raise discrepancies.
* Load/unload vehicles with zippy units.
* General cleaning & housekeeping duties as required.
* Other warehouse duties as assigned by the manager.
All about you:
* Forklift license advantageous.
* Prior experience working in a busy warehouse environment beneficial.
* A background in food service / FMCG is preferred but not essential.
* Good communication skills and attention to detail.
* A good understanding of HACCP requirements will be beneficial.
* Practice safe and correct manual handling at all times.
