We provide clinical services that prioritise the prevention, diagnosis and therapeutic management of communication and swallowing disorders to enhance the health and welfare of Central Queenslanders.
We support patients across the lifespan through the provision of preventative, diagnostic, rehabilitative and palliative speech pathology services.
About the role: Provide high quality clinical speech pathology services to adult and paediatric patients with communication and swallowing disorders in hospital and out of hospital, in a varied range of clinical locations and models of care.
Provide clinical supervision and training to speech pathology students, allied health assistants, members of the multidisciplinary team and fellow speech pathologists with emerging skills.
Contribute to the development of the speech pathology profession and clinical service within the region through participation in quality improvement projects.
About you: You must hold a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Speech Pathology from a recognised tertiary institution.
You must demonstrate eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia (certified practicing membership with Speech Pathology Australia is desirable).
Upcoming graduates awaiting conferral of qualifications and registration will be considered for this role.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 is comprised of: An hourly rate between $43.68 - $58.59 p.h.
