* Clerk Grade: 3/4. Base salary $84,659 pa to $92,701 pa plus super and annual leave loading

The Financial Performance and Investments division provides a full range of financial services including budgeting, procurement, customer accounts and investment management services.
About the role
This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of data integrity and governance across NSW Trustee and Guardian, with a focus on vendor and customer financial records. It drives and clearly communicates improvements that strengthen the control framework, supporting accurate customer records and aligning with organisational plans and objectives.

About you
The ideal candidate:
* Experience supporting financial transactions, reporting and master data administration in a finance environment
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate, complete and compliant vendor and customer master data
* Sound understanding of data governance, internal controls, policies and legislative requirements
* Ability to assess data change requests, identify data issues and resolve inaccuracies, inconsistencies and anomalies
* Confident communicator with a customer‑focused approach to supporting Finance, Procurement and broader stakeholders
* Demonstrated problem‑solving skills, including data troubleshooting and reporting to support business outcomes
* Collaborative team player who contributes to process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives
* Able to manage routine processing while escalating complex issues appropriately

Key knowledge and experience
* Demonstrated experience in Data Administration, including data cleansing, testing, quality assurance techniques whilst ensuring process efficiency.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Essential requirements
* Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience in a relevant discipline or industry, such as finance or risk management.
