**ABOUT THE COMPANY**
Our client is a family friendly American styled sports bar and restaurant based at Karratha, WA. Boasting a purpose built sports bar; the focus is on sports, entertainment, great food, activations and daily specials & giveaways. The venue has a regular clientele comprising of professionals, families and FiFO workers.
Nature is on the doorstep, with beaches, ocean and nearby islands to explore by boat. If you love the outdoors, there's also fantastic fishing, and plenty of natural sights to explore in the immediate region on your days off.
**THE OPPORTUNITY**
Reporting to the General Manager, you will help lead an enthusiastic group of young hospitality individuals with the backing of a multi-award winning management team who work closely with the owners of the business to deliver on their very successful brand of hospitality.
**Duties & elements of the position include**:
- _Bar & floor management_
- _Staff & roster management_
- _Food & beverage creation_
- _Liaising with suppliers_
- _Booking entertainment (local musicians & touring bands)_
- _Managing sports calendars & liaising with local sports clubs_
- _Stock control & liquor compliance_
- _Policy and compliance_
**WHAT YOU'LL BRING WITH YOU**
- An approved Managers Licence & bar experience
- Staff management experience by leading from the front
- Strong business and financial skills
- A commitment to ensuring policies, procedures and standards are maintained at all times
- Excellent computer skills and an interest in using industry leading technology in all areas of your role
- A proven track record in a similar role within hotel/bar management
