About the Opportunity
At PMHC every employee plays a part in ensuring we work together to achieve positive outcomes for our community. To help us achieve this we are looking for a Senior Asset Officer - Strategic. This role's purpose is to:
1. Coordinate the strategic infrastructure planning and asset management of Council's transport and stormwater asset objectives
2. Coordinate the requirements to affectively undertake strategic asset management of transport and stormwater assets
3. Support the development of Council's transport and stormwater Asset Management Policies, Strategies and Plans as part of Council's Resources Strategy and Delivery Program
The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of technology and be able to quickly adapt to new software and systems. They will be able to analyze data and information effectively, making informed decisions and recommendations. The successful applicant will have organisational skills and a self-motivated nature that will ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
Overall, the successful applicant will be a well-rounded individual with a combination of technical skills, analytical abilities, organisational skills, and a strong work ethic. They will be able to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, contributing to the success of the team and the organisation as a whole.
On a typical day, this role will:
4. Manage team (2 officers) responsible for maintaining Council’s Asset Management Information (asset data)
5. Oversee the recognition of new and updated asset data and analyse the trends and state of our infrastructure assets
6. Prepare reports and insights into Council’s infrastructure asset management and financial reporting
7. Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure our asset data is up-to-date and informs the community
Remuneration and Benefits
Employment Type: Full Time, 35 hours per week
Salary (exclusive of super): In the range of $83,843,64 to $94,377.60 depending on skills and experience.
