As a Logistics Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include promptly filling and dispatching bottle orders, maintaining well‐organised stock areas, and accurately receiving and processing deliveries. Essential skills include a keen attention to detail, excellent computer proficiency, and strong organisational abilities. A positive, customer‐focused attitude is crucial for success in this role.
Shift Time: 9:30am - 5:45pm
Day-to-Day
* Bottle orders filled and dispatched in a timely manner.
* Maintain stocks and keep areas well organised.
* Receive deliveries and process client orders.
* Ensure phone calls and emails are answered promptly and professionally.
* Arrange couriers and prepare freight for dispatch.
* Ensure deliveries are reviewed, labelled, and distributed within designated timeframes according to client needs.
* Provide administrative support as required.
* Ensure accurate and timely registration of client order details and requirements.
* Organise and coordinate the delivery of bottle orders to clients.
* Communicate with clients, Client Services, and team members when issues arise.
* Liaise with other ALS staff at different locations.
* Maintain a professional image of ALS with clients.
Essentials
* A positive, responsive customer focus and quality service attitude with a professional demeanor.
* Superior attention to detail and a commitment to complete high‐quality work.
* Excellent computer skills, including MS Office suite; experience with logistics systems would be beneficial.
* Ability to process multiple concurrent requests efficiently and accurately.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
* Ability to absorb and retain high levels of information.
* Ability to manually and regularly lift up to 15kg
Eligibility
