Undertake a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR31120) and gain practical experience while earning with a global leader in engine technology.

Bring your enthusiasm and determination to a technician apprenticeship role that will grow your career! Working under the supervision of a qualified Cummins Technician, you will learn everything that comes with the diagnosis and repair of Cummins engines and products.

What’s in it for you? Earn while you learn, we pay above award rates. Mechanical starter toolkit provided upon commencement. Obtain a nationally recognised Certificate III trade qualification. Complete off‑the‑job TAFE/Registered Training Organisation study. Receive structured on‑the‑job training under the supervision of our Regional Capability Trainers, as well as the qualified technicians and supervisors in your workshop. Gain experience working on a range of our world‑class Cummins engine products. Improve your technical expertise by completing a range of engine product training with Cummins Technical Trainers as you progress through your apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

- A passion for working with our products and in the industry.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Excellent level of language, literacy, and numeracy skills.
- A willingness to work across regional areas and rotate through different departments to gain experience on automotive, industrial, marine, and mining engine products as you progress through your apprenticeship.
- Right to work in Australia.
- Preference to have completed year 12 or equivalent.
- A robust focus on safety and wellbeing that will lead to a successful career at Cummins.
- Willingness to embrace diversity and make Cummins a great place to work.
