The Opportunity
JSG Industrial Systems is seeking a Business Development Manager to work as part of the Western Australia sales team, servicing an extensive distribution network, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:
* Building and maintaining new and existing customer relationships
* Interacting with customers at all levels including maintenance, engineering, and management
* Effectively and strategically managing the region to drive growth and new business opportunities
* Leveraging internal stakeholders to assist in developing new products and building new markets
* Communicating effectively and being a part of a strong, cohesive national team
About You
* Expertise in selling engineered products in industrial and mining markets
* Strong financial acumen including understanding of key business drivers such as profit margins, forecast accuracy, customer satisfaction, and budget management
* Advanced analytical judgment demonstrated in the ability to use a fact-based approach to drive sales and achieve goals and strategic objectives
* Expert consultation skills to lead with influence and trust
* Trade or engineering background, preferably in lubrication, hydraulics, or pneumatics (preferred but not essential)
* Results-driven and self-motivated
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Willingness to travel across Western Australia
