Roper Gulf Regional Council is seeking a compassionate and experienced Case Worker to support the delivery of the Indigenous Youth Reconnect program. This role is vital in helping disengaged Indigenous youth reconnect with education, training, employment, and community life.
You'll provide culturally appropriate counselling and case management services, facilitate workshops and bush camps, and work closely with community-based Youth Reconnect Officers. Monthly travel to Ngukurr, Numbulwar, and Borroloola is required
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver youth support services aligned with program guidelines
· Provide intensive case management and counselling for at-risk youth
· Facilitate workshops and bush camps focused on healing, education.
· Collaborate with service providers and community organisations
· Supervise Youth Reconnect Officers and oversee service delivery
· Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to council reporting
· Promote safety, wellbeing, and positive behaviours among youth
What We're Looking For
· Diploma in Social Services or 3+ years' experience in a similar role
· Strong case management and program coordination skills
· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational abilities
· Experience working with Indigenous youth and communities
· Ability to adapt to changing community needs and deliver flexible support

· Base Salary: $89,905.15– $111,692.94per annum (depending on experience)
