We're searching for a passionate, people-focused Trainer & Assessor in Health and Individual Support, based in Rockhampton, who's ready to lead, inspire, and uplift the next generation of care professionals. What You'll Be Doing
Every day will be meaningful. You'll:
* Deliver engaging, hands‑on training in Health and Individual Support
* Teach and assess learners in the classroom, online, and on‑site in the workplace
* Empower students to reach their potential through mentoring and motivation
* Be flexible—working from home, from the office, or out and about visiting learners
* Collaborate with our support team to track progress and ensure quality outcomes
* Work with health, aged care, and disability providers to support placements and job pathways
* Share your expertise through resource reviews and professional development
* Travel to student sites locally around Rockhampton and surrounding areas
What You'll Need
We're looking for someone experienced, qualified, and ready to lead with heart:
* TAE40122 or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent)
* Minimum Certificate III in Health and/or Individual Support (if not an RN or EN)
* 5+ years recent experience in Health, Aged Care, or Disability support
* Up‑to‑date industry knowledge and relevant vocational competencies
* A proven ability to connect with and support learners from diverse backgrounds
* Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a passion for student success
* Police Check, Working with Vulnerable People Check, and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
* Current driver's license and reliable transport
