6-month CONTRACT with potential extension Hybrid working arrangement (3 days/week in West Melbourne) Daily rate: Open to discuss ROLE OVERVIEW Are you an experienced IT leader with a passion for driving operational excellence across global infrastructure environments? We are currently seeking a highly capable Infrastructure Service Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery, performance, and continuous enhancement of our enterprise IT infrastructure services. In this pivotal role, you will be the primary point of contact between our internal business units and external MSPs. Operating within a hybrid service model, you will ensure all services meet strict contractual obligations, align with ITIL best practices, and deliver on target operating models. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Manage overall infrastructure services delivery in coordination with outsourcing partners and regional infrastructure leads. Define infrastructure operations KPIs, proactively monitor them, and ensure alignment with service delivery goals. Ensure all infrastructure services meet business demands regarding capacity, availability, performance, capability, and security. Own the day-to-day operational health of Infrastructure Services, encompassing on-premise, cloud, HCI, storage, backup, network, and end-user computing. Provide expert guidance to the infrastructure support team, taking the lead on major incident management and technical escalations. Represent the organization as the infrastructure services owner during service governance and operational meetings with outsourcing partners. Participate in the Change Advisory Board (CAB) to review, approve, and attend meetings for infrastructure change requests. Manage stakeholder expectations effectively through dedicated stakeholder management disciplines and coordinate operational queries. Monitor and report any budget variances for global IT Infrastructure support, hardware, licenses, and IaaS expenses. Monitor infrastructure support performance against SLAs and present monthly and quarterly reports to Senior Management. MORE ABOUT YOU Possess 10 years of IT experience with a strong focus on IT infrastructure services delivery and IT Operations. Demonstrate strong experience managing outsourced services, vendor performance, and complex outsourcing contracts to ensure favorable commercial outcomes. Exhibit a solid technical understanding of core infrastructure domains, including Data centre/hosting (on-prem, colocation, HCI), Cloud platforms (IaaS/PaaS, hybrid environments), Network services (LAN/WAN/connectivity), and EUC/Digital Workplace services. Have proven experience transitioning projects into live Operations and Support. Showcase advanced analysis, problem-solving, project management, and contract management skills. Demonstrate the ability to constructively challenge vendors and assess technical risk, capacity, and performance. Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to successfully lead a team of internal and external resources.
