We are seeking an experienced Carpenter/Handyman to help close out our residential builds to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a broad range of finishing skills, and a passion for mentoring apprentices. We are especially interested in someone a little older, able to bring a positive influence and add to our strong team dynamic.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete finishing carpentry and handyman tasks to close out residential builds
- Work collaboratively with management team
- Mentor and train apprentices, sharing knowledge and best practices
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Trade qualifications in carpentry (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential construction, renovations, or similar roles
- Strong finishing, problem-solving, and multi-trade skills (e.g., minor plastering, painting, hardware fitting)
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- White Card and valid driver’s license
- Own tools and reliable transport
