Advocacy Role for Medical Professionals
Job Description:
The position involves serving as an intermediary between General Practitioner (GP) Registrars and their state team, interacting with regional training stakeholders influencing GP training. The role requires advocating for and representing GP registrars at their training post management level, providing pastoral care, and assisting with transitions in and out of training posts.
This opportunity allows you to further your professional development and be recognized as an advocate among your fellow Registrars. The position is paid, with time counting towards training.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualifications: MB BS, B.Med. (or equivalent)
* Status: Enrolled GP Registrar with ACRRM
* Communication skills: Excellent interpersonal, liaison, written, and oral communication skills
* Organizational skills: Strong organizational, attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
* Software proficiency: Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
