Accounts Manager (Full Time) Reports to: General Manager
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Accounts Manager to join our leadership team and play a key role in the financial management and long‐term sustainability of the Club.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Accounts Manager provides financial leadership, strategic insight and strong operational hands‐on work across the Club. You'll work closely with the Board, Finance Committee and department managers to ensure sound financial management, support decision making and help drive the Club's future success.
This is a hands‐on leadership role that combines financial reporting, accounting, processes in operations and team management.
What You'll Be Doing
* Prepare monthly management accounts, Board reports and annual financial statements
* Lead budgeting and forecasting across all departments
* Provide variance analysis and performance recommendations
* Manage cash flow, banking relationships and financial controls
* Streamline all processes for auto integration between various software
* Oversee BAS and PAYG obligations
Strategic & Commercial Support
* Provide financial insight to support business planning and decision making
* Contribute to long‐term financial modelling and capital planning
* Assess the financial viability of projects and new initiatives
* Support revenue growth and cost optimisation
Compliance & Governance
* Ensure compliance with taxation, payroll, superannuation and reporting requirements
* Coordinate the annual audit and liaise with auditors and advisors
* Maintain strong financial policies and governance practices
Operational Finance
* Manage accounts payable/receivable and member billing
* Support payroll processing and reconciliation when required
* Partner with department managers on budget performance
* Identify opportunities to improve systems, reporting and automation
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
* Present financial reports to the Board and Finance Committee
* Support AGM reporting and member financial communications
* Build strong relationships with banks, auditors and key stakeholders
About You
We're looking for a finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with a collaborative, solutions‐focused mindset.
You will ideally have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
* High level of proficiency in MYOB (must requirement)
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a finance leadership role
* Strong financial reporting and systems experience
* Excellent analytical and communication skills
* The ability to translate financial information for non‐financial stakeholders
* Experience in club environments (highly regarded)
