The Rockhampton Hospital Pool provides suitably trained Enrolled Nurses to multiple clinical services across Rockhampton Hospital to cover emergent leave. The services include, but are not limited to Paediatrics, Emergency, Medical and Surgery. Rockhampton Hospital is the largest hospital in Central Queensland and the main referral hub for the region.

We will deliver expert care close to home by investing in a range of specialist services at Rockhampton Hospital for all Central Queenslanders.
About the role:
A Nurse Grade 3 is an Enrolled Nurse who supports a Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife in the provision of person-centred care as specified by registration requirements, Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia (NMBA) standards and codes, educational preparation, relevant legislation and context of care.
As the Enrolled Nurse, you will provide direct and indirect evidence-based patient care, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife, using contemporary nursing theory and practice within the Rockhampton Hospital.
Recognise and respond appropriately, and report sudden alterations, in the patient's condition resulting in the EN's workload changes, in a timely manner to the Registered Nurse/Midwife.
Practice collaboratively with the interdisciplinary health care team to promote safety, mitigate risk and promote the consumer and carer engagement in decision making and identification of processes for escalation of concerns.
Apply evidence-based practice in alignment with current guidelines to achieve positive care outcomes for recipients of healthcare services.
About you:
Current nursing registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Sound evidence-based clinical skills for an Enrolled Nurse and knowledge in area of practice and setting working within the scope of practice for an Enrolled Nurse.
Ability to communicate respectfully and thoughtfully with other staff, patients, and carers.
Committed to the delivery of high quality, safe patient centred care, practice, and service.
Practices within the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia competency domains and standards for an Enrolled Nurse.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $88,846 p.a. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $ $39.27 p.h.
