Job Overview

National Business Manager, Solid Tumours – responsible for leading and coaching a diverse team of Account Managers, driving national business results for J&J's Solid Tumours portfolio in a highly competitive matrixed environment.

Job Function

People Leader – Sales – Oncology/Hematology (Commission)

Responsibilities

* Direct leadership of a team of 8 experienced account managers, providing strong coaching and mentoring.
* Shape and execute national sales and brand strategies to drive awareness and accelerate adoption of the Solid Tumours portfolio.
* Lead the execution of national plans, adapting to market trends and lead indicators.
* Scope out opportunities in the solid tumour space, prioritising focus areas to deliver financial results and unlock future potential.
* Facilitate cross‐functional collaboration, ensuring high‐quality state and account plans that deliver value for customers, patients, and J&J.
* Own professional development for self and team, establishing and reviewing development plans to ensure continuous growth and high performance.
* Coach account managers on advanced selling, key account management, and deep therapeutic area/product knowledge.
* Act as a core member of the solid tumours cross‐functional leadership team, driving field insights and contributing to business plan, sales strategy, and budget development.
* Manage sales team travel and expenses budget.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in business or life science required.
* Essential experience within the pharmaceutical industry, with preferred oncology experience.
* Previous experience in sales and people management, with a clear record of managing teams and delivering results in complex or fast‐evolving environments.
* Customer‐focused orientation, collaborative and results‐oriented style.
* Strong commercial acumen, strategic planning and achievement drive; proven track record of leading with influence in a matrixed cross‐functional environment.
* Proven ability to coach, develop, and bring out the best in people, fostering a culture of coaching for performance.
* Outstanding communication skills and a track record of building and maintaining successful business relationships.
* High integrity and work ethics, aligned with J&J's core values.
