Front Office Guest Service Agents
We are currently seeking a self-motivated Guest Service Agent to join our busy award winning team at the BRIDGEPORT HOTEL. The hotel boasts 100 accommodation rooms, restaurant and bars and has won the AHA Award for Best Overall Hotel - Regional. We are looking for a dynamic and career driven individual to join our professional front office team.
As a Guest Service Agent, you are the face of the hotel and the first point of call for our guests. We are looking for a customer focused problem solver who enjoys working with people.
The key responsibilities will include:
* Providing a high standard of customer service to all guests, at all times
* Completing front office procedures with a consistently high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Guest check-in and check-out processes and procedures
* Handling and processing all payments for accommodation and functions
* Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns
* Coordinate with the Housekeeping team to track readiness of rooms for check-in
* Be an ambassador for the local area when liaising with guests
* Accuracy in daily reporting
* Regular communication with the Rooms Division Manager
The ideal candidate will have:
* A can-do, responsible, and flexible approach to working with a strong work ethic
* Prior experience in the front office function in a similar environment
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Experience using the RMS property management system would be advantageous
* Proven ability to be proactive with strong organisational and time management skills
* Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills, excellent communication skills
* A passion for exceeding guest expectations and providing a high standard of guest service
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Exceptional personal presentation and grooming
* A strong appreciation and compliance of workplace safety.
The role is a casual position working up to 5 days per week, over a 7 day roster; including week days, weekends and public holidays.
