The Role
You’ll be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and reporting on geotechnical hazards across the underground operation. Your day-to-day will include underground inspections, instrumentation monitoring, ground support recommendations, and collaborating with engineers, consultants, and operational teams.
To Be Successful, You Will Have
- A tertiary qualification in Geotechnical, Geological, or Mining Engineering
- Chartered status or working towards it
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in underground metals mining
- Solid knowledge of geotechnical monitoring tools and ground support systems
- High-level reporting and communication skills
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to site-based engineering
