Our client, a large Federal Government Organisation, whose focus is on foreign signals intelligence, military operations, cyber warfare and information security, require the services of a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for a month contract commencing in April 2026.
Duties
* Develop software using a variety of software languages (e.g. Python, Java) and development environments;
* Deliver scripting using a variety of languages (e.g. JavaScript) and secondary skills (e.g. SQL);
* Lead the development of software that supports high quality User Experience outcomes;
* Adhere to and improve software engineering processes;
* Identify system inter-dependencies and liaise with other system stakeholders to resolve conflict and coordinate integrated solutions;
* Work as a leading member of an integrated agile team.
Skills / Experience
* Demonstrable experience with the Kubernetes & Gitlab CI;
* Demonstrable experience with Kafka, Linux, Java and Python;
* Demonstrated ability to design technical solutions to meet mission requirements.
