To support increased demand in Queensland, they are now seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join their national sales team.

About the Role
As the Business Development Manager for Queensland, you will be responsible for:
* Generating new business across food, produce, meat, and FMCG customers
* Managing and nurturing existing customer relationships
* Providing tailored packaging solutions to meet client needs
* Contributing to national sales growth and territory development
* Collaborating with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes
* Reporting on sales performance and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline
Annual target : $2 million in new revenue
Location : Brisbane (with regular regional travel)
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities
* Build and manage strong client relationships across SME and enterprise segments
* Understand technical requirements and propose fit-for-purpose packaging solutions
* Prepare and present pricing proposals and commercial offers
* Ensure CRM records, reporting, and forecasting are up to date and accurate
* Deliver regular client engagement and face-to-face meetings
* Collaborate with operations, marketing, and technical teams
Key Metrics of Success
* Achieve $2M+ in new annual revenue
* Secure 5–8 new active accounts in Year 1
* Achieve 90%+ retention rate across existing accounts
* Conduct 8–10 client meetings or site visits monthly
* Convert 30%+ of qualified proposals into active business
Your Background
* Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in packaging, FMCG supply, or related industries
* Track record of exceeding $500k+ in annual territory sales
* Strong relationship and solution selling skills
* Comfortable discussing technical product specs with customers
* Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite
* Self-driven and comfortable working autonomously in the field
* Willingness to travel regularly across metro and regional Queensland
