In this technical role, you'll take charge of programming and operating our 5-axis CNC machine, transforming detailed drawings into precision parts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Program Development: Develop and optimise CNC programs from customer drawings using advanced CAD/CAM software
* Machine Operation: Operate and maintain the 5-axis CNC machine centre
* Quality & Safety: Ensure that all programs meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations.
* Testing: Check completed programs by running simulations or tests.
* Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and ensure smooth workflow.
* Technical Support: Serve as the primary technical resource for CNC operators, providing guidance on machine setup and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in CAM programming
* Minimum 2–5 years of experience in 5 Axis Machining
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. Mastercam, SolidWorks)
* Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and 3D models
