About the role
As an Auto Electrician with Kaper Auto Electrical and Air Conditioning you will be responsible for servicing and repairing a wide range of mining, civil & road transport machinery and trucks.
This Role is a lifestyle, 5/4 shift work role and is based on-site at a Glencore mine in Singleton with potential to work outside of the roster on civil and road transport.
What you'll be doing
* Diagnose, repair and maintain mining machinery, civil and road transport electrical & air conditioning systems,
* Test and calibrate electrical and electronic systems using specialist diagnostic equipment
* Liaise with customers to understand their requirements and provide expert advice
* Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken
* Contribute to a safe and efficient workshop environment
What we're looking for
* Cert 3 in automotive electrical & air conditioning required.
* Proven experience as an Auto Electrician, preferably within the mining, civil & Road transport industry
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to workplace health and safety
What we offer
$60 - $70 P/H, depending on experience.
Work vehicle supplied.
No reduced rates for all entitlements.
