**Role Description**
The Workforce Training Coordinator will provide education, training and workforce development opportunities to the public health workforce within Loddon-Mallee Public Health Unit. This will include Public Health Officers, Team Leaders, and medical workforce as required. The Workforce Training Coordinator will support, develop, deliver and coordinate education and training programs to build the capacity of LMPHU staff to perform safe, effective, and efficient public health activities within the Loddon Mallee region. This position will be working across the LMPHU streams to support regional and place-based public health activities.
This will be achieved by:
- Promoting evidenced based education in a range of settings.
- Supporting continuing professional development.
- Developing and delivering formal education programs.
- Contributing to protocol development, standard operating procedures and quick reference guides.
- Collaborating with the LMPHU multidisciplinary team to achieve goals and public health outcomes.
