Head of E-Commerce & Platforms
Location: Gold Coast (Hybrid/Flexible)
Reports to: Group CEO
We're looking for a Head of E-Commerce & Platforms to lead and scale our digital commerce across viral brands like Painted by James Charles and more. This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for driving growth through platforms such as Shopify and TikTok Shop, while building best-in-class operational, reporting and technology foundations.
This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, technology, data and brand storytelling.
The Role
You will own the performance and evolution of our e-commerce platforms, ensuring they are commercially optimised, operationally tight and future-ready.
Key responsibilities include:
* Own and grow all e-commerce platforms across our brand portfolio, including Shopify and TikTok Shop
* End-to-end responsibility for stock management across all websites and platforms, working closely with operations, supply chain and marketing
* Forecast, plan and prepare inventory for major campaigns, launches and peak trading periods
* Monitor, analyse and report on performance metrics including revenue, conversion, AOV, retention and platform-specific KPIs
* Identify and implement strategies to increase AOV and lifetime value through merchandising, bundles, UX and platform features
* Work cross-functionally with marketing, social, content and creative teams to ensure platforms are optimised for both sales and brand storytelling
* Lead platform improvements, integrations and testing to enhance customer experience and commercial outcomes
* Champion new and emerging technologies, including AI, to drive efficiency, insight and innovation across e-commerce operations
About You
You're commercially minded, platform-obsessed and genuinely excited by where e-commerce is heading.
You'll bring:
* Proven experience leading e-commerce platforms at scale (Shopify experience essential; TikTok Shop, understanding most have no experience)
* Strong understanding of inventory management and platform-based stock control across multiple brands
* A data-driven mindset with confidence interpreting performance metrics and turning insight into action
* Experience planning and executing major campaigns, promotions and launches
* A deep passion for technology, emerging platforms and AI-driven innovation
* The ability to balance operational rigour with creative thinking and brand vision
* Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work across multiple teams and disciplines
