Gen Power Services is focused on providing power system solutions for our clients in defence, mining and the oil and gas sectors among others. Offering an array of services, we cover all facets from design, engineering, consulting, procurement, installation and commissioning. We specialise in power systems, including engine work such as rebuilds and upgrades, remote power station services and comprehensive mechanical solutions.

The successful candidate will need to be available for field service duties including mine site shift coverage (Light Vehicle and Heavy Vehicle), remote community servicing and repairs and marine defence sector work.

REQUIREMENTS
Australian recognised trade completion certificate as Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic
Strong field service and mining experience preferred
Experience working with OEM equipment such as CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, or Liebherr preferable
OEM engine experience preferable
Good communication skills
Self-motivated, with the ability to work as part of a team
A strong commitment to safety and quality
High level of attention to detail
Positive and proactive attitude
Be a flexible and professional team member
High level of self-motivation and commitment
Current drivers' licence
